Recently my husband and I spent a delightful evening at the Copper City Motel in Cobar. After being welcomed to the Motel by the very friendly Front of House Staff, we were directed to Coppers Restaurant for Dinner. After a cooling pre-dinner drink, were were taken to our table and offered their very comprehensive Menu. My husband chose the Oyster Stack for Entree and a Porterhouse steak for Mains, while I had the Warm beef Salad for Entree and the Pan fried pork Medallions for a Main, all Washed down with a bottle of Clancy`s Red. We were not disappointed , the meal was to die for and the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. Strolling back to our room, we encountered the motel cat, who greeted us and allowed us to stroke her. After a very good nights sleep, we went on our way to Broken Hill, carrying some lovely memories of our night in Cobar.

Lillian and Roy are fantastic hosts. Executive room was very spacious, clean and comfy and was a great home away from home for a couple of weeks. After a couple of long hot days it was great to enjoy a quick swim in the pool. Restaurant food and service was great - loved the Rib Eye Steak. Will be back. Joe Farmer.?
